Feltrinelli, in the midst of its corporate campaign “Reading teaches reading”, wanted to focus the public’s attention on violence against women.
In Italy the public debate on the theme is quite polarized, as we keep hearing too many trials against the victims, and poor attempts to switch the real responsibilities. So our idea was to reframe the classic “she asked for it”, that perfectly embodies today’s cultural struggle to make the world a safer space for women.
